Head of TA Franchise, CRM
The Position
As the TA Franchise Head for the Operating Unit (OPU), you will lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional team across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access & Health Affairs (MAHA), and Go-to-Market (GTM). You will be responsible for shaping and executing the TA strategy in alignment with the Regional Operating Unit (ROPU), ensuring operational excellence, customer and patient centricity, and sustainable business growth.
This role demands a dynamic leader with a strong strategic mindset, deep therapeutic area expertise, and a proven ability to drive collaboration and performance across functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the OPU TA strategy in alignment with ROPU’s Integrated Brand Plans (IBPs) and strategic objectives.
- Provide market, customer, and competitor insights to inform regional planning and decision-making.
- Ensure launch readiness and successful commercialization of pipeline assets and new indications.
- Lead the development of operational plans, budgets, and long-term forecasts for the TA.
- Drive achievement of sales, market share, and profitability targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead the TA cross-functional team to deliver integrated brand and customer engagement plans.
- Foster strong collaboration across Sales, Medical, MAHA, and GTM to ensure aligned execution.
- Oversee the planning and execution of key customer engagement activities (e.g., advisory boards, symposia, KOL development).
- Inspire and align the team around a shared vision and strategic goals.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to build team capabilities.
- Ensure performance and talent management processes are effectively implemented.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance with company policies, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical behavior within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and/or sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in therapeutic area management and successful product launches.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English is required.
