Head of Finance and Administration
The Position
Lead Finance and Administration for Thailand as the senior finance partner to the Country General Manager and leadership team. Accountable for financial stewardship, compliance, planning, performance management, governance, internal controls, and decision support to enable sustainable, profitable growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor on business performance, risk, and capital allocation while safeguarding the company’s interests with key internal and external stakeholders. Lead planning, forecasting, reporting, cash flow oversight, performance analysis, and finance team effectiveness to support sound decisions, operational discipline, and long-term value creation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Governance & Financial Stewardship
Own financial integrity, statutory and tax compliance, planning, budgeting, internal controls, and P&L oversight.
- Business Partnering
Provide strategic financial insight, support decision-making, challenge performance, and guide long-range planning and risk management.
- Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing finance organization through clear priorities, talent development, and strong execution across Purchasing, Operations (CSCM, Commercial Quality, GFE), and IT.
Regulatory and Organizational Requirements
Member of the Local Executive Committee. Legal entity Board member or representative, as applicable.
Job Complexity
This role operates in a matrix environment, reporting locally to the Country General Manager and functionally to regional finance leadership. It carries broad financial oversight, cross-functional influence, and leadership responsibility in a complex stakeholder environment.
Interfaces
Key stakeholders include country business leaders, regional and corporate finance teams, tax, audit, shared services, and external partners such as customers, auditors, authorities, suppliers, customers, and banks.
Requirements
· Master’s degree (eg. MBA, MSc) in Business Administration and/or Diploma in Economics and/or Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- 4-6 years of progressive finance leadership experience, in Life Sciences, Pharma or FMCG industries
- Strong knowledge of Corporate and local framework with regards to rules, policies and processes.
- Broad experience especially in the area of Finance & Controlling
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate financial insight into business action.
- Experience leading teams in complex, multinational environments.
- Corporate or global experience beneficial
