THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Medical Manager, you will be responsible to execute the local medical strategy for upcoming indications in the Oncology Therapeutic Area (TA). You will lead the local medical projects within the TA as defined in the regional plans, provide medical expertise, and share key insights from the field to the Asset team.
As a Medical Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust scientific and strategic relationships with External Experts (EEs). Moreover, you will facilitate the exchange of medical, clinical, and scientific information with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
In your role, you will also work closely, collaborate and support different internal teams including: Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, QM, Market Access, Sales, Marketing and Clinical Operations. In addition, you will work closely with the Regional Medicine (MIDI) Team.
The work location is Athens. It is expected that the Medical Manager spends 50% of their time in the field. The role might require some occasional travelling. You will report directly to the local Medical Director in Greece.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to support brand strategy, Market Access, and key account planning.
- Manage Real World Evidence (RWE) studies and contribute to clinical projects from design to implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, and authorities.
- Translate scientific data into clinical and patient value and gather insights to inform strategy.
- Collect scientific insights to be integrated into Clinical Development Programs.
- Act as a scientific partner for Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) and collaborate on protocol reviews.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
- Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or any related Life Science field. A Master’s Degree in those fields will be considered an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as Medical Manager, Medical Advisor or similar role.
- Preferably, you have at least 2 years of experience within the Oncology Therapeutic area.
- Knowledge of the National Health Care System and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design and process.
- Excellent command of the Greek & English languages.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills to share scientific content and context to multiple audiences – both orally and in writing.
- Excellent project & change management skills.
- Results oriented, proactive & entrepreneurial.
- Team-player with experience working in diverse teams.
- Patient & customer-centric attitude.
- You have a valid driving license.
