Specialist, Technical Production M-F 8:00pm -4:30am
Description
To perform support/process duties associated with the continuous manufacture of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines, will perform and coordinate with other groups and lead the activities associated with the preparation of active ingredient vaccine and components(cells and medias)requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans, executes and evaluate outcomes of Production protocols/experiments for new product transfers and productivity improvements. Full participation of direct and indirect tasks as required.
- Oversee and ensure training and qualification of team members.
- Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data sheets and support documentation.
- Initiate and facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances to Team or Group Leader.
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives.
- Provide feedback of individual and team performance in Production.
- Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum three-five (3-5) years in related field.
- Preferred Biology Degree or Science Degree or in a related field from an accredited institution, plus three-four (3-4) years of experience in related field.
- Basic math skills.
- Technical writing and equipment/automation trouble shooting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated, strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge.
- Working knowledge of GMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing.
