SR Technician, Maintenance (Calibration) - $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

Oversees and conducts advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifying/improving all aspects relative to good maintenance practices, equipment reliability and performance of electrical/mechanical systems such as high speed filling/packaging lines, fermentation, bioreactor, autoclaves, clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, automation, freeze dryers, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fulfill work order information in SAP on a timely basis and confirm status. Access to find and work with all advanced information on SAP.
- Assists in the development of detailed individual training program to increase knowledge of assigned maintenance and operation fields and other areas of the plant as needed. Serves as a SME and as on-the job trainer for less experienced Technicians.
- Performs advanced trouble shooting and detailed failure analysis to determine root cause. Depends on own knowledge and experience when there might not be specific instructions/or upon a situation not faced with in the past.
- Oversees the completion of the Preventative Maintenance plan on time and in compliance.
- Coordinates the work of outside contractors performing basic to advanced projects or supplementing work force.
- Contributes to cross-functional equipment advanced improvement teams focusing on performance and reliability.
- Support training of production & maintenance personnel relative to basic operations and care of electro-mechanical equipment. Serves as a SME and as on-the job trainer for less experienced Technicians.
- Provide supervisory relief and coverage as needed, to support business priorities and critical tasks.
- Respond to all maintenance emergencies and anticipate them. Provides sound, effective technical solutions and advice on complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and implement advanced technical corrective action where equipment experiences performance issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma +8 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
- Associates Degree/Technical Diploma (relevant field of study) +4 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelors Degree (relevant field of study) +2 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements
- Advanced level problem solving/troubleshooting
- Proficient verbal and written communication
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer literacy
- Basic Leadership
- Advanced technical Coach/Mentor
- Advance Continuous Improvement
- Intermediate to Advanced Data Analytics
- Able to redline Read blueprints/PID’s.
- Knowledge of FMEA
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
