The Senior Associate Director, Process and Plant Engineering is responsible for the management of the Production Maintenance, Calibrations, and Process and Packaging Engineering departments and personnel. This role will ensure that critical equipment, facilities, and direct utilities are maintained to the highest compliant standards. The incumbent will manage budgets related to equipment and support engineering as well as provide technical expertise on production equipment and processes throughout the assigned production areas. The position holder will make decisions regarding the management of the production equipment and associated infrastructure.

The Senior Associate Director, Process and Plant Engineering leads the Process and Packaging Engineering organizations in support of the site providing expert engineering technical support for critical systems, process improvement, critical system troubleshooting, and business support services. This position is responsible for overseeing manufacturing support of current processes and process improvement initiatives and ensuring oversight of the SCADA system to ensure successful production systems operations. The incumbent will provide a high customer service level, fiscal responsibility, ethical compliance, and continuous site operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages and directs Production Maintenance managers, Reliability engineers, Compliance, etc. to drive high efficiencies and effectively utilize resources.
  • Assists the production group with technical problems and operational issues.
  • Actively participates with a diverse group of individuals in a team effort to identify root causes and subsequent implementation of corrective measures, with subsequent tracking and trending of operations.
  • Manages and directs Process and Packaging Engineers to drive efficiencies, improve yields, and develop robust and capable processes.
  • Enforces compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in engineering, and maintenance; Experience must be inclusive of a minimum of seven (7) years leading people, large teams, and complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Organizational Capital Planning and Analysis is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication at all local and corporate levels.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, organize, prioritize, and coordinate project activities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects at one time.
