Description
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Transformation department located at our Athens facility. As an Intern, you will analyze existing manufacturing and business system data to identify trends, gaps or opportunities for improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations through basic data analytics and system review activities
- Analyze existing manufacturing and business system data to identify trends, gaps, or opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the development of data visualizations using tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
- Support basic workflow automation or system integration efforts using Power Automate and Power Apps
- Collaborate with site stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements
- Document findings, assumptions, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner
- Participate in project planning activities, including scope definition and milestone tracking
Requirements
- Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
- Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship/co-op.
- Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
- Major or minor in related field of internship/co-op.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
- Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
- Strong interest or foundational experience in Information Technology (IT) or data‑driven problem solving
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure to Microsoft tools including PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Prior academic or project experience working with datasets, dashboards, or system data is a plus
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and summarize data
- Basic technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software tools quickly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with mentors and cross‑functional partners
- Organized approach to managing tasks, documentation, and project deliverables
