This position gives you the chance to grow within the role and shape it by bringing in your ideas and expertise in both Payroll and HR. You are part of a broader international HR community, where you will interact and support more than 350 employees across 42 nationalities!
You will support in payroll and HR administration-related actions, hence, you are closely aligned with our HR Payroll & Admin team on administrative processes concerning personnel policy, and work with the team on improving such processes. Moreover, you act as direct backup for our Dutch HR Payroll & Admin team when needed.
This is a part-time hybrid position based in Amsterdam (24H / 32H per week). You will be initially offered a one-year contract (with possibility to extend) as part of this opportunity.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support monthly payroll activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
• Manage employee hiring administration processes, including contract and system administration.
• Execute activities related to the employment life cycle, e.g., starters, time off administration, and leavers.
• Administer employee benefits and insurance in line with local laws, keeping employee data accurate and current.
• Organize Purchasing Orders (PO) processes as required.
• Formulate the payroll data and support with benchmark purposes as required.
• Support local and regional projects as needed.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
- Ability to think and operate at Bachelor degree level in Human Resources, Administration or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in Payroll in the Netherlands.
- Experience in HR Administration or strong interest to learn.
- Fluent level of English, Dutch language skills are a strong plus.
- Proficiency with digital HR systems such as SuccessFactors, and Microsoft Office package.
- Good knowledge of Dutch employment law.
- A customer-friendly attitude and excellent communication skills.
- You work accurately and have extraordinary problem-solving abilities.
- You approach work in a structured and organized manner and excel at meeting deadlines.
