THE OPPORTUNITY- DO WORK THAT MATTERS

 

Are you curious to know what Finance in a multinational pharmaceutical company looks like? If you are ready to embrace the challenge in a dynamic and multicultural team, we are looking for a talented and motivated student to join our International Controlling team located in Amsterdam.

In this internship you’ll gather hands-on experience in the use of IT tools in the management accounting and controlling field. You will also live a true international experience, interacting with colleagues from all over the world in our Amsterdam office and in the local countries.

 

 

IMPORTANT: For the entire duration of the internship you have to be enrolled in a university in the Netherlands.

 

 

FURTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Set clear learning goals to get the most out of your internship.
  • Develop reports to provide transparency on financial data to business partners.
  • Support the FACT and Human Pharma and Animal Health Business Unit controlling teams in the monthly closing activities.
  • Support data analysis and prepare presentations to the management with regards to product and business profitability, cost analysis and price/volume analysis.
  • Develop tools and files to support the budgeting and forecasting process.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM:

 

  • You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Previous experience in a professional business environment (e.g. previous internships, working student) is a plus!
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity and proactive attitude.
  • Strong focus on solutions and results-oriented execution.
  • Accountability: you actively give and seek feedback to deliver results.
  • Agility: you learn with an open mind, and rarely make the same mistake twice
