The Position:
Commercial Manager based in Algeria, is responsible for achieving annual Ex-Factory and in-market sales objectives aligned with market needs and company principles. Will improve business relationships and enhance the company’s image with wholesalers, distributors, and sub-distributors. This role will manage safety stock levels, improve in-market sales performance, and oversee sales campaigns, sell-in/sell-out agreements, free goods, credit limits, cash collection, and stock levels. Additionally, involve in tender-related activities, coordinate price offers and order execution. Commercial Manager will also collaborate with third parties to ensure goods availability and distribution for company outsourced products.
The Commercial Manager will report directly to Head of Human Pharma, Algeria.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee supply chain cycle, including budget planning (LTF/OL export), purchase orders, letters of credit, goods availability, shipment, and delivery in alignment with market potential and company strategy.
- Develop and execute a five-year plan for sales, commissions, sampling, free-of-charge goods, and expiries, while ensuring accurate alignment with marketing and sales departments.
- Review local sales databases, set yearly in-market targets, and provide structured guidance to support LTF forecasts and drive sales performance.
- Manage tender processes, including revising tender booklets, preparing company bids, fulfilling tender requirements, and coordinating price offers and order execution with distributors.
- Act as the main contact point between BI teams and external stakeholders, including wholesalers, distributors, sub-distributors, and local health authorities, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Track monthly sales, stocks, and receipts, achieve yearly Air-to-Sea ratio targets per regional guidance, and consolidate customer FOCs transactions for proper tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, MA/KAM, RA, Quality, Finance, Legal, SC) and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient execution of business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical / Management field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the role of Commercial manager, Wholesaler management will be preferred.
- Customer management experience
- Project Management experience
- Well-developed understanding of the country’s regulatory environment and market landscape.

- Leadership and managerial qualities, with strong customer management experience.
- Proactive and results oriented
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High analytical thinking capabilities and synthesis skills
- Strong adaptability and organizational skills
- Proficiency in IT (office & presentation tools & ERP’s)
- Good command in written and spoken English is a must.
