Medical Advisor
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven Medical Advisor to join our Medical Affairs team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is instrumental in shaping medical strategy, driving scientific exchange, and supporting the success of our specialty care and rare disease portfolio.
This position reports to the Medical Affairs Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and execute short- and long-term medical goals and tactics, with an emphasis on pharmacotherapeutic aspects and with an understanding of business priorities.
- Act as health care manager responsible for health care compliance revision and approval of commercial communication.
- Provide scientific leadership in cross-functional TA Brand team and contribute to the country strategy for brand medical plans.
- Provide expert medical and scientific support to internal stakeholders and external healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute medical plans aligned with brand strategy.
- Analyze and interpret clinical research, scientific literature, and complex data sets to inform decision-making.
- Support real-world data generation initiatives and contribute to evidence-based strategies.
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and HCPs to foster scientific dialogue and gather insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, market access, and commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within a pharmaceutical company
- Previous relevant experience within KSA is preferred
- Proven experience in specialty care and/or rare diseases.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret clinical research and complex scientific data.
- Experience in real-world data generation and evidence-based medical initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Business fluent in English; business fluent in Arabic is a plus.
