Demand Management Specialist HP
We are hiring Demand Management Specialist who will be responsible for managing demand planning activities for the Human Pharma business in assigned countries within the SAGEA (Saudi Arabia, Gulf and East Africa) region. The primary responsibility of the job holder is to ensure the reliable and compliant supply of Human Pharma products to customers, aligning with customer service level targets while managing all end-to end planning related tasks.
This position is based in Riyadh KSA, reporting to the SAGEA Head of Commercial Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure effective supply planning by adhering to the net requirement plan, challenging supply capabilities, and maintaining transparency on risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities. Continuously review stock levels, inbounds, and demands to balance stock holding and minimize destruction risks.
- Mitigate arising supply and destruction risks.
- Ensure launch, change implementation, and SKU discontinuation/withdrawal.
- Address challenges with obsolete stock and availability issues during change implementation.
- Steer efficient execution of product re-supply and set achievable inventory targets.
- Support the creation of a robust net requirement plan on a monthly level for all sales channels (Tender, Private)
- Chair Demand Review and S&OP Meetings.
- Execute workflow-related activities for all involved systems in a timely manner.
- Coordinate SKU versions are correctly aligned with all stakeholders.
- SKU master data for all related systems ensuring they are in place and up to date.
- Ensure process adherence for the transfer to and integration of API suppliers.
- Process responsible for optimization and yearly execution of the tactical Supply Chain Processes.
- Responsible for GRP/IBIS master data related to Demand Management activities.
- Improve the overall Supply Chain performance by optimizing key parameters.
- Act as the escalation contact and referee for operational issues between internal customers and Regional/Global Supply Chain
- Drive order matching process and alignment between business and suppliers.
- Support and drive alignment in the S&OP process within a Cluster or country.
- Manage demand planning activities by coordinating cross-functional inputs from S&OP stakeholders and other sources to ensure optimized service levels and efficient inventory management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree will be a plus
- Certificates (preferred): APICS
- 3 – 4 years Demand Planning work experience within Healthcare or highly regulated organizations.
- Broad understanding of the end-to-end supply chain on Global and regional level
- Proven capability in Demand Planning management
- Business fluent in Arabic & English in its oral and written form
- Must be a Saudi National
