Commercial Technology and Analytics Manager / Staff or Non-line Manager / Commercial Excellence Dep

Basic purpose of the job:

Ensure the company derives value from commercial data, platforms, and analytics capabilities by leading the development and execution of technology and data strategies. This role acts as a strategic liaison among the global CE team, IT, and AH organizations, while driving innovation through advanced technologies such as AI,RPA etc. Dedicated to shaping and supporting the future of our business, it enables data-driven insights, smarter decision-making, improved sales effectiveness, and enhanced customer engagement through seamless integration of tools, insights, and automation across business units. Additionally, this role champions change management to foster adoption, build capabilities, and embed a sustainable data-driven culture across the organization.

 

Accountabilities  - Related performance indicators:

Design and govern a holistic strategy that aligns and integrates commercial technologies (CRM, Data Management, Dashboarding, etc.) with overarching business objectives

a. Completion of integrated technology roadmap aligned with business goals 
b. Adoption rate of standardized tools and processes across Business Units
c. Relevancy and stability of technologies

 

Drive adoption and application of advanced analytics (including SFO, CVM, predictive modeling etc) to deliver actionable insights for sales and marketing across channels by leading other global and local commercial excellence members.

a. Relevancy and number of Actionable insights delivered and implemented
b. Utilization rate of analytics dashboards by sales and marketing teams

 

Lead the management of commercial process, data and platform

a. Updated and accurate process for commercial technologies and data by leading and governing the CE members and commercial team.
b. Accuracy of data  including Master, CRM, webinars, web access by leading local and global CE members and DCS team in Spain. 
c. Close information sharing and collaboration with Commercial Team

 

Lead innovation initiatives and accelerate adoption of emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, automation tools) to enhance commercial capabilities and efficiency

a. Use cases implemented and operationalized 
b. Reduction in manual processes or time saved through automation 

 

Champion change management and capability building to embed a data-driven culture

a. Rate of employees trained on tools and analytics processes
b. Change adoption rate 

 

Lead and drive x-functional data,technology, analytics related projects

a. Leading and driving cross-functional projects, including technology functional upgrades, data management and analytics.
b. Negotiation and communication with senior management on behalf of the projects
c. Manage both process and people for those projects

 

Interfaces:

BIAHJ Leadership Team, Global Commercial Excellence(Data & Platform, Sales Force Effectiveness, Channel Excellence), Marketing Heads and team, Sales Heads and team, AH Finance, Information technology(global and local), Solution providers (global and local)

 

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

 

Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies):

- More than 5 years experiences in the Animal Health and/or Human Pharma industry. 
- More than 5 years experiences in managing Sales force effectiveness and Customer Relationship Management system.
- More than 5 years experiences in managing technology, data and analytics
- Experiences in leading at least a few cross-functional strategic projects.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking capabilities
- Ability to establish, strengthen and maintain close collaboration with many diverse people and cultures on all organizational levels, including global and regional senior leadership.
- Ability to lead, inspire and encourage diverse members of department and cross-functional project team to achieve ambitious targets.
- Ability to solve problems based on strong acumen and logical approach.
