Job Responsibilities
Service & Solution Development: 
-Responsible for design, technical architecture and implementation following the defined BI process framework of complex systems and software in the own area.
System, Service and Solution Support:
-Responsible to provide maintenance, optimization, innovation and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned solutions for non SAP systems. Troubleshooting system problems that have been escalated. System lead (and/or software lead) responsibilities for complex systems,leading and implements changes as required. Manage as SME the vendor who offer managed services for SAP
Project Activities: 
-Support goals by participating on or leading project teams. Deliver on assigned tasks and action items. Takes over Project Manager responsibilities for mid size and/or large projects. 
Technical/Organizational Focus: 
-Serve as an expert for existing systems or solutions on technical level  and selected organizational aspects /e.g. processes, BI framework,...)in assigned area of APAC focuy beyond China approx 70 % in APAC countries.
-Employ comprehensive knowledge to influence technologies and solution decisions. Identify IT or Pharma industry processes or technologies that could provide BI with a competitive advantage.
Documentation and BI Framework: 
-Understand the BI framework and follow defined processes. Determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities
Perform all other duties as assigned.

 
Required capabilities
-5+ years Application support experience in plant production and distribution logistics areas
-Solid experience in SAP MM/MM-IM/WM/LES/SD
-Experience in deploying and implementing of global SAP Templates
-Experience in connection ERP systems to 3rd party logistic providers
-Experience in implementing/supporting systems for Import and Export processes.
-Demonstrated strong project management capability in a global/virtual environment
-Demonstrated capability to implement technology solutions in complex business environment.
-Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
-Software lifecycle management could be an advantage 
-Negotiation and Vendor management skills  and experience with managed services would be a plus
-Balancing priorities of multiple tasks to ensure timely delivery on business commitments
-Strong communication skills in a complex global and cross-functional/culture environment
-Japanese speaking is a plus
-Experience with SAP EWM/QM would be a plus
