Senior Axway Specialist

The Position

As a member of the Global Application Experience, Global IT team, the candidate will provide technical leadership for on-premise and cloud applications.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support user communities in America or EU zone for application systems.
  • Perform system lead tasks including application administration and system lifecycle documentations.
  • Provide technical leadership in application roadmap by close coordination with system owners.  Participate in build, upgrade and/or migration projects.
  • Keep systems up-to-date by leading and executing technical upgrades, applying patches, bug-fixes including security vulnerabilities. 
  • Perform security management tasks such as user account reviews, technical account reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Follow SOP and conduct activities in a highly regulated and compliant environment. 
  • Analyze business needs, prioritize tasks, develop solutions, and conduct data processes to improve the operations of IT systems.
     

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable professional experience
  • At least 5 years working as an application owner and/or system administrator (Senior System Engineer)
  • 3+ years as application and/or system support (System Engineer)
  • 1+ years as API Tech Lead
  • At least 2 years experience in at least 2 APIs technologies below
    • API Management
    • API Gateway
    • API Develoment
    • Policy Studio (Developer)
    • Amplify
    • Microservices on AWS/Openshift
  • Development (can read code, have conversations with developers, develop simple logic ) with Python, Javascript, Java, etc
    • Understands database concepts and SQL
    • Source control (GIT)
    • Microservices on AWS/Openshift
    • Information protection and security
    • Networking
  • Required System Engineer Skillsets:
    • IT System(s) (OS, web, app, db, network, cloud) administration
      • Access/incident/problem/change management
    • Web Services and Integration (e.g. HTTP, MQ, APIs)
    • CD/CI operation
    • Programming (SQL, Python, JS, Java)s 
  • Information protection and security
  • Networking
  • ITIL V3 or V4
  • Salesforce 
  • Veeva
  • Kubernetes (Openshift) 
  • Jira & Confluence
  • System Administration (Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Database Administration
  • Writing IT relevant Technical Documentation
