The Senior Talent Advisor will identify and attract top talent for the business areas supported. The incumbent will partner with hiring managers and HR Business partners to develop, communicate, and execute recruiting plans as well as proactively manage all steps in the hiring process. The position holder is expected to source, screen, and assess qualified candidates for open requisitions while achieving a seamless, positive candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate for this role will strive to deliver a strong and diverse candidate slate for each role while proactively communicating status updates to hiring managers. The Senior Talent Advisor is expected to consult hiring managers on search difficulties and provide solutions as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and manages recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources that align to the search requirements.
- Sources candidates via resume databases, search engine and networking sites.
- Solicits and pursues referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals.
- Manages and documents all recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provides regular reporting of recruiting activities to hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Screening & Sourcing:
- Leads job scope meeting with hiring managers to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations on possible approaches to the search or candidate requirements.
- Reviews candidate applications via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Evaluates candidate qualifications against position requirements.
Assessing Candidates:
- Conducts phone screens with candidates.
- Compares candidate skills and competencies for matches to current or other potential openings.
- Deploys assessment tools as needed/required.
Communications & Employer Branding:
- Leverages recruitment marketing materials and social media to engage with potential candidates.
- Articulates Boehringer Ingelheim Value proposition to candidates.
- Maintains regular communications with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle, including interview preparations.
- Plans and participates in job/career fairs, interview days and/or other recruitment activities as needed.
Job Offers:
- Partners with hiring managers, compensation, and HR business partners to determine offer details.
- Uses market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
- Articulates job offers to candidate while driving for candidate acceptance, anticipating, and negotiating counteroffers as appropriate.
Requirements
SR Talent Advisor
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
OR
- High School diploma with equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) or more years’ recruiting experience with demonstrated successes in a corporate, RPO or agency setting.
- Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools.
- Prior executive level search experience highly preferred.
- Prior Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match.
- Demonstrated success developing relationships.
- Strong administrative and computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage deliverables and timelines independently.
Talent Advisor
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
OR
High School diploma with equivalent work experience.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
