As a Process Expert / Process Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that designs, builds, supports and constantly improves Boehringer Ingelheim’s global A2R processes.
Your deep knowledge in Accounting to Reporting (A2R) and your tech-savvy skills in SAP Finance (SAP FI, SAP Financial Accounting) will be key. Tasks & responsibilities
- In this exciting role, you will be at the heart of designing, building, deploying and supporting global Finance processes using SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA and other digital tools.
- You will be the driving force behind the development and implementation of process and system improvements, working closely with the Global A2R Process Owner (GPO).
- As the go-to person for our A2R key users, you will collaborate with IT and Quality Assurance colleagues, as well as Shared Service Centers and Local F&C colleagues worldwide.
- Your expertise in processes and technology will be crucial in driving the Demand and Change Management process.
- Leveraging your project experience, you will manage and support local and global projects throughout their lifecycle.
- And that's not all: as part of our Validation Manager community, you will ensure that our process and system changes always meet our validation standards.
Additional Tasks for Process Manager
- In strategic projects, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop proposals as well as manage the change together with our stakeholders.
- You will manage external stakeholders and ensure adherence to our standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or Business Engineering, alternatively a Bachelor's degree with solid work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Finance & Controlling, with proven extensive knowledge and experience in SAP Finance applications, especially in General Ledger (FI-GL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Invest Management (CO-PS/IM)
- Good technical skills and a passion for systems like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager
- Experience in being part-project lead and moderating (international) workshops
- A structured, results-driven and proactive working style, with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders
- Profound communication and presentation skills in both, English and German, with intercultural skills and a willingness to travel internationally
Additional requirements for Process Manager
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Finance & Controlling, with deep knowledge in SAP Finance applications, especially in General Ledger (FI-GL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Invest Management (CO-PS/IM)
- Strong technical skills and a passion for systems like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager
- Proven experience leading (international) projects and moderating workshops (bonus points for agile methods)
- A structured, results-driven and proactive working style, with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders
