In this curricular internship you will join the Legal & Compliance department of Boehringer Ingelheim in Milan supporting in various activities such as Healthcare Compliance, Anti-bribery, Antitrust, Data Protection, Insider Trading and Human Rights. You will also have the chance to support the Senior Management and the Surveillance Bodies of the Italian legal entities of Boehringer Ingelheim in the implementation of the Organizational, Management and Control Model as per the Italian Law Decree nr. 231/2001 - definitely something new to learn every day!
• Carrying out Due Diligence (screenings) of Boehringer Ingelheim Third Parties (suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, sales agents) to detect Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) and other compliance risks;
• Supporting the execution of audits and other monitoring activities;
• Contributing to improve the Data Analytics approach in the execution of the Compliance Program;
• Supporting the preparation of Compliance trainings to Boehringer Ingelheim employees and Third Parties;
• Developing and updating Compliance communication tools (e.g. Intranet, Website, …).
• Reviewing initiatives involving Healthcare Professionals (e.g. physicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc.), Healthcare Organizations (e.g. hospitals, scientific societies, etc.), Patients Organizations and Veterinarians making sure that they comply with applicable laws, Industry Codes and Boehringer Ingelheim procedures;
• Reviewing and updating Compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions (WIs);
• Current student in Business Administration or Law
• Basic knowledge of the Italian Law Decree n. 231/2001
• Basic knowledge/experience in Project Management would be considered a plus
• Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent command of the English language and native level of Italian language
• Strong team working and communication skills
• You drive execution excellence through discipline, accountability and proactivity
• You are confident in working simultaneously on multiple projects
