THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Boehringer Ingelheim at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Koropi, Greece, and be part of a team dedicated to transforming lives through innovation. As we continue to expand and upgrade our facilities, we are looking for talented individuals to support the deployment of OPEX Prime within the site. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the implementation of OPEX Prime as a local framework, driving operational excellence and efficiency.

You will play a crucial role in supporting capability building within the site by leading the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, ensuring that site missions and goals are met and contributing to the success of our innovative therapies and products.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the local implementation of the OPEX Prime Production system based on the designed strategy.
  • Execute local OPEX Prime projects.
    • Conduct local capability trainings according to the OPEX Prime framework, including:
    • Enhancing problem-solving and root-cause analysis, supporting decision-making by analyzing complex operational data from multiple sources, and guiding cross-functional teams towards solutions.
    • Delivering trainings at several levels of the organization, promoting a Performance/Continuous Improvement mindset, and acting as a change management champion.
    • Conducting training in the OPEX Prime methodology for all new Cell structure teams (Cell Supervisors, Cell Maintenance Experts, Cell Process Experts).

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a comparable educational level.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within production environment preferably pharmaceutical.
  • Lean manufacturing/Operational Excellence experience or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Mindset: Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Skills:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Teamwork capabilities.
    • Coaching skills and change management.
    • Project management and budgeting.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
