(Associate) Market Access Manager
Job Responsibilities
-Develop and implement market access strategy for key products in line with the overall strategic directions and business priorities of the company
-Drive enlistment initiatives for key products to secure government reimbursement or subsidy
-Support launch preparation of products in the assigned TAs, activities including but not limited to formulation of value proposition, development of pricing proposal, evidence generation, stakeholder engagement
-Monitor healthcare, social & political environment and competitive landscape, identify and address the threats and opportunities impacting market access strategy and initiatives
-Establish partnership and develop collaboration with external parties, including but not limited to patient groups, NGOs, healthcare providers, policymakers, to shape favourable environment for patient access
-Plan, develop and manage patient access programs
-Manage government supply contract for HK and Macau market
-Oversee budget & material approval for programs accessible by patients and public

Qualification & Experience Required
-2-3 years of experience in market access, public affairs roles in the pharmaceutical industry, candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher position
-Bachelor's degree in life science related disciplines, qualifications in other disciplines such as business, economics or public policy could also be considered
-Relationship building experience with pharma policy makers, NGOs, patient groups, leveraging these relationships in order to drive for BI’s presence in the pharma industry
-Experience in organizing and implementing public affairs programs, activities with the ability to engage internal & external stakeholders
-Experience in providing market access expertise to other functions
-Pricing and contracting for pharmaceutical products is a must
-Good knowledge of health economics and outcome research
-Good connection with media, agencies, being resourceful to identify & leverage opportunities (desirable but not a must)
-Ability to prioritize work under pressure and deliver according to deadlines
-Excellent Chinese & English language, both written & spoken, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely in an engaging style
-Strong knowledge in local market access practice, trends and issues.
-Strong negotiation skills and solid understanding of payers and patients’ needs
-Team player and strong collaborator, both internal & external
