Brand Manager, Poultry

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Develops specific marketing plans for products or species
  • Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
  • Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, including labeling and advertising.
  • Analyses data and makes strategic recommendations. Provides marketing insight and direction to optimize new product launches.
  • Recommends pricing strategies, and monitors budget and expenditures. Ensures product placement and development corresponds to market needs.
  • Represents marketing group on cross–functional team interfacing with product development, production, and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine/Business Administration/Marketing/ or related area (MBA will be an advantage)
  • At least 5 years-experience in the Animal Health area of which 2 years are in a Marketing role
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Flexibility (open to change, adapts to the situation)
  • Analytical ability (outlining, specifying, rational)
  • Persistence and consistence, able to work under time pressure
