Project Engineer (Capex and Automation)
THE POSITION
The Project Engineer will join the Global Facilities & Engineering of our strategic production site in Noventa Padovana (PD) and will report to the Head of GFE. In this position you will be responsible for projects related to engineering issues, power supply, plant installations, HVAC, raw and treated water, clean utilities, steam and sterile steam, hot water generation and all other means, construction technologies, facilities and industry 4.0. This role offers the opportunity to guide Construction Managers on local scale, define construction strategy and procedures, and influence successful project completion. The ideal candidate possess an in depth knowledge of design, operations and compliance requirements for computer-based systems in a cGMP environment
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide support to keep local technologies update and compliant considering a good balance between costs, benefits and global and corporate standards
- Ensure the implementation of the local technological strategy for equipment, systems, technical infrastructures and technical support
- Contributes to developing improved and robust automated system strategies e.g instrumentation, controls and automation for process etc
- Provides strategy definition and approval for change request, design documentation, testing and commissioning plans
- Advises and approves strategy for deviations resolution and CAPAs implementation
- Performs advanced automation system design that supports data integrity, stability, and interface between different systems
- Ensures Automation resources supports internal, external and customer's audits and resolution of any observation by auditor
Requirements
- Master’s degree Degree in Industrial Engineering
- A minimum 8 years production process systems experience, at least 3 years of experience preferably gained within pharmaceutical companies or engineering consultancy focused on pharmaceutical companies
- Solid understanding of all aspects of the industry in terms of legal, compliance, GxP, Computer Validation and regulatory requirements
- Strong digital skills, Project/Program Management, Autocad, strong GxP knowledge
- Fluent level of English and Italian language
- Good communications skill, ability to work in team, business acumen
