Market Access Manager

The Position

Support the development and execution of optimal price and access strategies for the HP Business. Engage with external stakeholders as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the development and execution of optimal price and access strategies.
  • Maintaining relationships with key external Market Access stakeholders (e.g., payers, Government officials, industry associations, patient advocacy groups).
  • Provide pricing, reimbursement and pharmacoeconomic information to relevant internal and external customers. Maintain in-depth knowledge of pricing, reimbursement and pharmaceutical policy decisions by payers and competitors.
  • Participation in cross-functional teams as required.
  • Support aligned and compliant Market Access activities and processes (including launch price and price change approvals and data management: BIPTrack, Launch Tracker etc).
  • Lead local data evidence generation and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) supportive of strategies to improve health financing and access.
  • Conceptualize and implement access programs for priority disease areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate qualification in pharmacy, epidemiology, health economics or economics, public health, biostatistics.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience, in pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Fluent English.
  • Good interpersonal, time-management, written and oral communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex topics.
  • Working knowledge of local pharmaceutical market policies, particularly with respect to pricing and access is required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA).
